Gasull family started working with oil and soaps in 1835. It had warehouses in Reus and les Borges Blanques. In 1911, the founder’s son decided to build a new warehouse on the outskirts of Reus, which was built by Lluís Domènech i Montaner. Although this warehouse is empty, it still exists and can be visited by a previous appointment.
Multinational olive oil companies arrived to Spain in early 70s. Oil layout suffered a gathering process and most of the companies closed. The third generation of Establecimientos Félix Gasull SA retired from the wholesale layout,
Since 1835, Olis Gasull produces highest quality oils of the arbequine variety. Each year, one of the best world oils, which are recognized with different awards, comes from their country house in Reus.

One of the goals of Olis Gasull is the development of agriculture as sustainable as possible. This is the use of weed-killer has been eliminated and the application of pesticides has been reduced as much as possible.
Moreover, an agreement has been signed together with the green organization GEPEC and its naturalist school to maintain and to reintroduce endangered species, starting with the owl.
The Gasull extra virgin olive oil is obtained by arbequine olives grown in our country houses. Olives are harvested by hands and grinded the same day they are harvested. The result is soft and fruity oil, lightly sweet with green almond, nuts and dried fruit and herb reminiscences.
We produce 40.000 litres of high quality oil with our about 5.000 olive trees placed in Mas del Font, our mill in Reus. All olives come from this country house as well as from Mas Font de Rubinat, in Constantí, where there are about 3.000 olive trees. This allows us to control 100% of the production process. Moreover, we have recovered the grinding of stones to preserve the aroma and the natural oil taste.
If you take an olive and press it softly you are going to obtain the oli nou; an olive oil in a pure state that drags all olive essences as well as the sweet, fruity and with reminiscences of nuts and dried fruits and herbs taste.
We have bottled as the jet flows, without waiting to be poured to be sure that it conserves the particular taste of the olive pulp in suspension. Its aspect is turbid because if it was filtered it would lose its singularity. Over time, the pulp will pour naturally and when happening, you only need to shake the bottle and it will recover its original appearance.
• Cold pressing of arbequine olives, 100% harvested by hands
• Acidity lower than 0.20º

• The first taste is sweet and good body leaving an intense and pleasure taste.
• Organoleptic description of the fruity well balanced taste of the ripe arbequine olive
• Complex flavours: touches of fennel, banana and almond. It is harmonious, intense, delicious and round
